Civil Rights Training

Ozarks Food Harvest is required by contractual relationships with Feeding America and The Department of Social Services, Food Distribution Unit, to provide Civil Rights training to all of our member agencies on an annual basis Being treated with dignity and respect is certainly something we all expect and desire. This becomes even more important when we are facing difficult times and are in the position of asking for assistance from others. Our federal government believes this is such a crucial issue that people need an annual refresher to reinforce proper civil rights and responsibilities.

We are excited to offer our new civil rights self-training component online for your convenience.  A link is being provided to navigate you to the proper online training materials on our website: (Scroll down to Training and Compliance section)

This training is offered immediately and all agencies have until February 28th to complete.  Agencies not in compliance with this request will be put on hold until training is completed.

Documentation must be on file at OFH and your site for the following:

For OFH Records: documentation that all staff and volunteers have been trained, this documentation will be sent to us automatically once you've taken the test (so you do not need to send us anything, we will know who has been trained from the test results.

For Your Records: documentation that all staff and volunteers have been trained, we have attached a simple form for you to fill out and keep on file at your agency.

Thank you!
